Technical Specifications

Compatible Media

Glass bead (recommended for most applications), aluminum oxide, ceramic beads, plastic media, and walnut shell. Fine mesh media (80–220 grit) recommended for best results. Not suitable for large/sharp media that could damage the drum screen.

Recommended Air Compressor

Minimum 5 HP compressor with 60+ gallon tank delivering 20 CFM @ 80 PSI for continuous batch operation.

Ideal Part Sizes

Parts from 0.25" to 6" in any dimension. Maximum individual part weight: 5 lbs. Best suited for fasteners, brackets, fittings, small castings, machined components, springs, and stamped parts.

Applications

Deburring machined parts, descaling heat-treated components, removing casting flash, surface preparation before coating, cleaning fasteners and hardware in bulk, finishing 3D-printed metal parts, and any high-volume small-part processing where manual blasting is too labor-intensive.
